Need a S939 MicroATX Board, if not good MicroATX S754 Board

I'm going to be building a computer to use for on-site audio recording and mixing (church service, music/teaching setting).

I was going to use a Dothan and the new DFI Socket 479 board. But both of those adding up to $500 alone, the system got too expensive.

----So----

I was considering using a mobile Athlon64, but I couldn't find any MicroATX S939 boards. If no S939 mATX boards exist might consider going S754. Otherwise I'll either stick with the Dothan, or go with a mATX nForce2 board w/ Soundstorm and AXP 2500m.

i'm pretty sure they exist. i know you can buy them from shuttle in a barebone setup.

there's the shuttle barebone setup. comes with board, case, and psu. only 314$$. pretty good deal 😀

Thanks for the info on the XPC, hadn't really considered an XPC.

I was also able to get rid of the Audigy2 as the XPC had SPDIF In/Out.

CPU ended up being up $100 cheaper (Athlon64 3000)

Case + Motherboard Combo came out ~$50 cheaper with XPC.

Overall good mod to the setup.
