I saw the deal on the T41, looks pretty sweet. Friend of mine is looking for something to use at school., i.e. no games but lightweight, wireless built in, no problems, great battery life, etc. Any reccomendations? Mac -> PC, it doesnt matter, long as it works.
 
Eveyone here talks up the IBM t lines. If you look in hot deals there is a pretty stripped down t41 for $1399 or so. Hot deals also has a thread on the x31 with a docking station and cdwr/dvd for $1274. Both of these come with a standard 3 year warranty.
