Need a relatively cheap computer desk

I want my computer to not be on the floor so it has be on the desk. Something that is sturdy, yet lightweight for mobility and not expensive. The cheaper the better of course. What are good places to search and does anyone have a model in mind? Thank you.
 
If you are really on a budget, check out the IKEA as-is section, you can often find scratch/dent/showroom furniture for up to 50% off regular price
 
Ikea, Walmart, Office Depot, thrift stores, or make it yourself.

If you're living in a place you own and aren't renting I highly suggest going with the "make it yourself" option.
 
get some two-by-fours and a sheet of plywood
or check out the brick-and-mortar stores for a prebuilt solution 😉
 
Here's my desk!


Just kidding...that was my solution while I was building my desk. Building from scratch is the most fun way to obtain a desk.

But going back to the topic, I did setup a simple corner desktop table @ IKEA for under $100 bucks. I owned it for almost 2 years and still lookin' great.

It's pretty nice that you can customize it 🙂
