Turns out more people will be coming than expected... and I'm expected to house all of their broke butts since this trip is kind of my baby.

At this point, is it possible for me to get a room (any room!) for Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night... for $150 or less?

Might want to try Palace Station ... wayyy on the other end, left side of the freeway at Sahara Ave.

I remember getting 39.99 rooms here in the mid of tourist season. It isnt pretty, but it'll do.

I was in Vegas last week at the excalibur, $50 per night with double beds.
They might still be found cheap.

have you tried the various sites like Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.?

Also, download TravelAxe and let it search for you, too!

Could also try the priceline thing. Check out biddingfortravel.com for some pointers and/or current rates that are being accepted.

Shoot, you can get them rooms for the gold spike or golden nugget downtown for dirt cheap. Like someone already stated, try Travelaxe. It will search at least 12 different locations for the cheapest prices and you can go from there.

I got a room for $30 a night in vegas at a nice place by using priceline. It was for a whole week. Of course I had 2 months of trying before I got a taker on priceline.

There's a program you can download that will automagically check prices for Vegas hotels from like 10 different sites...forget what its called but it kicks ass.

I stayed at the Best Western for like $30. :)

It's about 20 times as nicer than all the cheap roach motels on the strip.

You can be cool like me and crash at my buddy Greg's place.

By the way, I'll be there July 28th through August 1st, maybe the 2nd.
