Need a reading suggestion for book to read while traveling.

Going on a month long trip to chill out in Colombia. Any suggestions on a good book to read? Currently thinking of:
100 Years of Solitude
Hitchhiker's guide to galaxy
Catch 22

Hitchhiker's guide I liked (read it, the whole series actually, flying between the US and Europe). Not so much Catch 22.

I usually prefer books of short stories.

No books on Columbia?
