hey guys....i need a couple advices here.
1. a couple months ago...i built my pc and i was on a tight budget (im 14) so i got only one stick of patriot pc4800 tccd ram. now i got more money from my bday, so i think i really need at least 1 gig. the question is..should i sell this stick and buy a 1 gig set of different ram for the same money...or just get another stick?? ok heres another question. i really need a new mouse.. i was thinking im willin to spend about 35 bucks on one. i game a lot. any sugestions? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

On the RAM - I'm assuming that you have 512 MB right now? I'd probably just get a second stick. Make sure it's identical, though.

As for the mouse, I just bought a Logitech MX518 for about $35 from Newegg. That particular mouse is out of stock now, but I thought I'd just mention that I don't notice a huge difference from my crappy old $5 mouse that I've had forever. My frag counts certainly didn't go up in FPS games just because I have a better mouse. And the ability to drop the resolution is cool, but I just don't find it that useful. Do I really have the twitch reflexes needed to switch the resolution in mid-game so I can head-shot somebody more easily? No. Maybe you do - you're 14 and I'm old so your reflexes probably kick mine all over the playground.

Anyway, I can think of better things to do with $35 than a $35 mouse. Especially if you're on a tight budget.

Agreed - find a matching stick or get a new pair of something else.
