Hello all,

I am going to build a P4 system of the following specs:

Getting-

Abit Ic7
2.8C w/ slk-900U, Thermaltake smart fan 2/AS ceramique
1GB pc-3700 Corsair XMS or 1 GB mushkin level 2(2-2-2-)PC-3500
WD 80 GB <-- the one w/ 8 MB cache
pioneer dvd-116
most likely Antec True 480

Have:
radeon 9700 PRo
19" Viewsonic PF790
Speakers= labtec 424
tdk 48x cd-rw

Now my most challenging choice at this point appears to be the Case. After many years of a noisy system i want peace and quiet yet i still require engough cooling for an overclocked system.

I really would like to purchase a Lian Li Pc-6070 but i have heard taht cooling is a problem <-- is it?
What would be good alternatives? Antec sonata ?

The Sonata isn't that great for cooling, but the fact that it comes with a 120mm case fan that runs off the 7V lead from the PSU helps. It does come with rubber gromets to hold the HDDs to prevent vibration.

Edit: For the record, I own a Sonata.

I don't find my sonota that quiet, but it may be because I have become more sensitive to any noise.

I agree, it's not THAT quiet. On the box it says "Hear the silence". Yup, I can definately hear something :)

But it's still a nice case overall.
