I am building a system with a 1.4 GHz cpu and need an extremely quiet power supply for my Fong Kai case (FK-320). The 300W PS that came with the case is too noisy! I've heard that the Enermax Whisper is quiet. Is that true and do you recommend that for my case and system or is there a better one?

Also, which fan do i need to get to put in the front of the FOng Kai - 320 case? It has a slot for a fan, but i don't know what fits there. Any recommendations would be appreciated. thanks!

The Enermax whisper is a great PSu and pretty quiet.

I think the FK can mount a 90mm or 120mm fan up front. Wiser heads will offer better advice, but i like the Panaflo quiet fans

Just checked the spec, apparently the case will hold a 92mm or 120mm fan in the front of the case

The Whisper is not extremely quiet. It only is if you're using it in a system with a lot of fans that overpower it anyhow. If you want "extremely quiet" you should go with one from quietpc.com or the Silencer line from PCpowerandcooling.com.

Ok, the enermax whisper fan doesn't say anything about the AMD athlon. IT just says "Meet AMD K7 and Intel 2.03 Version".

If it doesn't say it meets the Athlon then should i stay away from it?

No, it'll handle Athlons just fine. But it's not super-extremely-quiet, if that's what you need.
