Hi there guys 🙂 ! I'm just wondering, although i'd been benchmarking alot, demo loops 3dmark01 (for 1-2 hours), memtest for a couple of hours, completed the super pi calculations, aquamark, pcmark 04 and 05 with no problems. And gamings are gone swell no problems at all even hours at a time, 12 hours at the most. But just benchmarking 3dmark05 worries, me.

A first try @ 3dmark05, the battle seen went fine. After that bam. an error. A second try again. it went well over and over, even got a score out of it 🙂 for both Nvidia 6600 and X850XT. Is it just me? or 3dmark05 got problems sometimes, it takes 2 retries to get the whole benchmark through, but the others i had displayed above went well and dandy (played BF2 demo for hours( 😀 )😕

my setup is in my sig, overclocked my cpu @ 2.069ghz and ram @ 230mhz (3-3-3-8), extremely stable since then. No CPU hiccups, temps 35 idle and 48-50 load (depends on ambient temp) never hits 57 degrees celsius.

Using a descent PSU that will suffice, with good amprage in all. used to have a 12 v+ 12 amped rail 🙂 !!!

not that I don't trust you but could you give the wattage and name brand of your psu? are you using the demo version of 3dmark05?

It's an Allied PSU current out put of watts is 500, and also i'm using the demo version 🙂.
