hey i'm building my parents a computer for their bedrooms, so it's gotta be quiet. they only use it for burning cd's, dvd's, checking email, microsoft office.

case: antec sonata 380W
motherboard: shuttle MN31N with onboard video
processor: athlon xp 1800+
ram: kingston valueram 256mb ddr pc-3200 x 2
cooler: Tr2tt (link is http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?description=35-106-602)

i also want to put in an internal card reader for the digital camera, will these work with my motherboard?

do you have the chip where you can see the die ..? if it has writing on the actual cpu core(die) it is a Palamino..if the writing is off to one side on the edge on a separate raised surface..it is a TBred/newer core..please post back your findings..tia 🙂
