It's on a Duron 900 with 256 mb of ram?

Prices are the same pretty much, the G4 about 15 dollars more.

Performance on Anandtech Review tends to lend itself to the Geforce 4, which seems the logical choice, although I never liked the MX cards....

They look like they are about on par performance wise, and the G4 offers some extra features so I would say go with the G4.

DOH!! I thought I read GF3 Ti200. Wishful thinking;)

Get the GF4 MX 440...but the GF3 Ti200 is a better choice IMHO.

GF4 MX is essentially a riced out GF2, & performance between the two seems to be a pretty mixed bag - some games the GF4 is faster in, some the GF2.

I'd grab the GF4 MX, unless you can wait for the Ti 4200 for a little more money.

<< I'd personally go for a Ti200 and overclock it. I'm not to hip about a hacked GF2 core for the GF4 MX

Went with the Ti200....I'm the same, that MX sh*t really annoys me...

Nah, getting the machine today (order just went thru) and I bet the Ti 4200 in Australia will cost an arm and a frigging leg!! :( (Horrid prices down here!)
