Need a quick answer for PowerPoint w/ Video

I made a power point presentation for a school project, and I included some DV footage, I copied the videos over with the presentation and it played from the CD, does this mean it'll work on my teachers computer? Or is it just working off of my computer? I cant find a way to change the file directory...
