Here are the specs:
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
A64 3000+
1GB Corsair (soon to be 2GB)
DVD+/-RW
Card Reader
Chaintech 6200 (softmodded to 6600 and overclocked)
Creatice Emu 1212m
Sapphire Theatrix 550
1x36GB Raptor
2x200GB WD SATA drives
XP-120
in a:
Silverstone LC-13

So, it obviously has to be 24 pin becasue it's the DFI. While money is not a big concern I don't want to waste it. I was really looking into these three but will consider any suggestions:
CoolMax 600W Modular ATX Power Supply w/ 120mm Fan (CU-600T)
PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool® 510 PCI Express (510W)
OCZ PowerStream? 520 Watt Power Supply

Each one has features I really like. I really wanted modular because I am very confined for space, I love the idea of having tunable power railes and teh PC power and cooling comes highly recomended from what i have seen around here.

If you're looking for a nice quiet and powerful one, the Seasonic S12 series is great. I have a 430watt running an A64 rig with 6 harddrives and it's running great.

If you're going for quiet, the PC Power and Cooling isn't for you. Sounds like a tornado.
The s-12 is where you want to be.

There is not one system that anyone here has that needs a 850w power supply. That is extreme overkill.

Go with Seasonic S12 series or an OCZ unit.

HTPC means you want QUIET.

Go with Seasonic. It's a no-brainer.

Those who are suggesting PCP&C PSUs obviously have NO experience whatsoever in building HTPCs.

hrm, ok it is then down to the seasonic or the OCZ. I don't mind springing for some extra wattage as this computer will hopefully last me a few years with some upgrades down the road.

OCZ is an over priced Topower with green LED fans, get the Seasonic.

XClio 400 or 450 - either would be more than enough and nice and quiet too...
