Antec and Enermax are really good power supplies, and Aopen/Sparkle are pretty good too. What you should get is a list from the processor manufacturer's website on approved power supplies. A bad supply can turf your system and reduce its lifespan or kill it suddenly. Make sure you get a nice healthy rating of at least 300W too, higher if possible (like 350W or 400W).

thanks StandardCell i'll check intels site...btw i have a P3 1000 im thinking about the ENERMAX EG365P-VE 350w

great PSU, you can't go wrong with that one. might i also recommend the Antec PP303XP 300w PSU, i got one with my Antec case and love it (i'm running it on an ASUS P4B266-C board with a P4 1.5GHz CPU).

you probably don't need 350w of power for your p3-1ghz, but enermax branded power supplies work really well. i have a 330w that has been running 24/7 for the last 7 months without any problems. and i think all enermax psu's have on/off switches.

whitelight, where did you purchase your at ? newegg looks like all orders are handled online and no phone # to call to place an order 🙁
