Need a player that can play damaged/incomplete avi's

Nettoob, way back in '97, seemed to be able to play a lot of messed up files that other players couldn't...I was hoping that someone out there might have some good modern suggestions...

if you mean busted/incomplete divx.avi files, you can try DivxFix to reconstruct the index and run it normally through media player. Get it here at VCDHelp.com's tools page, under Repair/Converters.

you could also try the divx player or virtualdub too.
