Hi.

I have a 3 gigs partition hosting WinXP. And oh my god, it's not sufficient. I have PQMagic 7.0 and I try to delete my linux partition to pump my WinXP's one to 5 gigs. But the stupid PQ7 won't APPLY the changes I say. I can start the program, mess with the partitions, click on apply changes and the computer reboot. BUT the changes are not applied. The system reboot as if I did absolutely nothing.

Any partitioning programs that REALLY work with Windows XP?

Run PM7 from DOS. I don't know if I would *EVER* try to *RESIZE* partitions from within Windows.

Yeah, Partition Magic 7.0 supports WinXP. I have re-sized an NTFS and FAT32 main partition many times without any problems. Actually, you can run PM from within Windows and after you have set your new partition sizes, PM created a type of batch file that is completely automated and will re-boot, re-size, re-start.

I did the partitioning from the floppy disks PQ7 did.

It fudged up my XP though.

Oh well...
