I have an older (1995) Mitsubishi 50" Model VS-5041 RPTV and I got it from a bar and I was cleaning out the front and I snapped the main Control PCB in two does anyone know where to get one? The part number is 935D2370. I know it's an old TV and the newer ones are alot better but my step father is wanting this TV fixed :)confused:) Thanks for any help as I really need to find this part to get the TV working again

Just start searching the web for the part number. I checked the normal places that stock tv replacement parts and none of them have it. The only way you are going to get the part is if someone has removed it from a used set.

If it is just the board with the buttons, repair it by scraping the coating off the traces and soldering the traces back together. Then use a two part epoxy to glue the board across the cracked area.

a board like that will probably cost at least $200, you are better off buying an used 50" RPTV for around $350-400. I am selling my mits 42" RPTV HD-ready for $300 including matching stand.

Partstore.com has parts for your tv, but not the right board. As already said, your best hope is to attempt to repair it. If any traces on the break are small/narrow & not solderable, sometimes you can run wires directly to/from wherever the traces go.

I logged in on encompassparts.com (found your avs forum post) and they have the board listed, but not for sale ('Not for Resale'). Judging by the price of $16 vs 200+ for others, I would guess this repair is doable.
