Need a panel reccomendation

My laptop panel is driven by an ATI x300. In the CCC, there's an option "Scale - Maintain Aspect Ratio". Does nVidia have a similar option? And if so, can somebody reccomend me a 19" Widescreen LCD that will respect this option, and display non-native resolutions in a stretched, but correct AR?
