I need a new motherboard. I plan on getting a 2.4Ghz 533mhz FSB Pentium 4, but dont know what motherboard to get. The thing that makes it hard is Im upgrading my previous system is that I need as many PCI as I can get (atleast 5 I think) but I also need onboard SCSI, atleast two ULTRA SCSI ports, and still need the 2 IDA ports. basically everything else doesnt matter, I dont need DDR ram, it would be nice, but oh well. Please suggest to me. I had a Supermicro board lined up, but found out that if I go for a P4 chip I should go with the 533mhz FSB and not the 400Mhz FSB

If you're not going for a server grade chipset, onboard SCSI has no benefit over PCI cards (because it'd all end up on the same standard PCI bus). Grab a board with six PCI slots and help yourself to a Tekram 390U3D (two U160 channels) or 390U3W (one U160, one UW40).

Is PCI SCSI just as fast as onboard? I have a fairly large MB and my CD drives attached to the SCSI system.

I think the only way to get onboard SCSI is to get a Xeon board now. PCI SCSI will be at least as fast as onboard and far more portable to the next system as Peter said.
