Need a nice Photoshop Tutorial

Kelemvor

OK. I starting out as a complete news when it comes to Photoshop.

I can handle cutting and pasting images and resizing and that's about it.

I don't want to be advanced but need to understand things like layers and combining images together. Can anyone recommend a GOOD tutorial that I can learn this from online?

I searched for some photoshop tutorials and got some 2 million results on Google and would like to narrow that down a bit.

Thanks.

IIRC when we got CS3 there was a disc that came with it that had some movies and tutorials and such.
I'm not sure if that was included with every order or only if you ordered the optional book tutorial also.
I can't say how good they are, I haven't gotten around to watching / looking at them yet.
I've got some PS tutorial bookmarks....somewhere.... I'll pass them on when/if I find them.
Generally you'll want to find some good general ones, but also some specific to your specific workflow processes of interest. e.g. things that focus on pre-print and printing if that is your big thing, things that focus on camera raw photo import / processing if that is your big thing, and so on.

In the digital cameras forum here on AT there's a sticky topic from "Odin" with a link to his PS tutorials...
