Go to a real stylist and get what they recommend based on your style and hair type. I'm not talking about Supercuts, either.

If you have thin hair, a wet gel is probably the worst way to go, unless you're going for the scalp-is-better-than-hair look.

All right... I like the look of wet hair, but my hair is too thin for the wet hair look. That is why I go for the thickening gels, but would like my hair to look wet...

Is there any product that can do that?
What you may want to do is get a leave-in conditioner to use after you shower, let it sit/dry for a sec, then choose any number of products from there. some leave-ins thicken the living fvck out of your hair. I used to use a Bumble and Bumble leave-in that worked and smelled great, but it just made my hair too thick and unwieldy. I already have super thick hair...

try the MOP foaming gel. not sure about the thickening part but it'll hold up the "wet" look all day without looking greasy or nasty, and it's pretty good for styling your hair. once you do your hair, it'll hold all day long. unlike the traditional gel, this one is just light foam... very clean and good. $12-13 per bottle.

Looks great. Thanks for the info buddy.

Just get the Sauve kind for a dollar. It works, that's good enough.

And, wtf is it with it being acceptable these days for men to act like women when it comes to their hair? Just be happy with what you have, your're a man FFS! Thicker looking hair isn't going to get you any more women then what you get now.

I just a got a bottle of Redken from my hairdresser.
Good stuff but I wont likely buy another bottle. Expensive junk doesnt always work better.
I once spent a hundred bucks on Merle Norman skin care products and found out the hard way that the $2 crap from Kmart works just as well.
