Okay, both the keyboard and mouse on my system are pretty much beat to heck after 5 years of hard use. I thought it'd be fun and slick to try a new wireless keyboard & mouse combo, but after extensive research, I feel like I'm back at step 1.

So, I defer to you guys since you've always been spot on. What's the best wireless keyboard & mouse combo out there?

Thanks.

I really hadn't thought too much about features. I've used so-called multimedia keyboards and high-end mice before, but never really used many of the extra features. I suppose at this point, the only true features I'm interested in are the completely cordless asepct of a wireless keyboard and mouse. I'm all about less clutter. That said, I would like the keyboard and mouse to be highly regarded by others and known to be reliable and trustworthy.

An no, I'm not brand-loyal. Whatever works the best and is completley wireless.

Hmmm...good question. Probably $75 or less, if possible. Can you recommend a solid Logitech wireless keyboard & mouse?

The first would be my pick on that budget

smopoim86, thanks so much. I really appreciate your help. I just finished ordering the first keyboard/mouse combo you listed, the Logitech MX 3000, but I ordered it from ZipZoomFly instead of Amazon as it was cheaper there.

Thanks again.
