I have this motherboard:

MSI MS-6702 (K8t Neo-FIS2R)

and i want to get a video card that will work with it and make it possible to watch hd videos (1080p) on my monitor. I already have an hd ready monitor and just need the video card. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to find an AGP card capable of HD video...ones that come to mind are the ATI 2XXX series and up or the Nvidia 7XXX series and up.

AGP cards are a dead race...Im sure someone else can give better advice but as far as I know HD video either needs a powerful GFX card and CPU...most video cards now a days have built in hardware HD video decoders to help take the stress off the CPU.

Heres a link to Newegg showing HD capable AGP cards...the cheapest being a $50 ATI 3450...crap for everything, but should play your HD video flawlessly.

Also, if you want to game your best options are the 3850 or 4650/4670...both very expensive though when price/performance/future proofing ratio is concerned.
