Need a new server board, maybe CPU.

Right now running a P4 1.7Ghz and an Asus P4T(Socket 478) as my file/web/email server at home. I'm wanting to do a RAID5 setup and was going to use the 3Ware 7506-4LP card(not purchased yet, so this isn't set in stone). However, the card is 64bit so I won't be able to use it on this board since it's only 32bit PCI(am I correct in thinking this?).

So I either need a new board that's Socket478 that will support the 64bit PCI card, a new board and CPU that will support the 64bit PCI slot, OR a new board(and possible CPU?) with a solid built in RAID chip that's Socket 478.

What do you think I should do?

Please don't bump threads in <12 hours.

I'm almost certain their cards are backwards compatible to 32-bit PCI. VERY few PCI cards are 64-bit-only.

That is correct.. I dont see many 64bit mobo supporting a 478 chip.. you probably need to go xeon for that..

Nevermind, I'm an idiot, just found the compatibility list and had my board listed. You were correct Matthia, is it 32bit compliant.
