Need a new router

My old netgear wireless G was one of the best routers i've had. It handled full bittorrent loads and porwarded ports for games no problems, no crashing, it was the god router. But it died and i've tryed the v7 and v8, Next WNR834B, Linksy WRT54GS v4 flashed, US Robotics MaxG, I'm currently using a Linksys WRT300N it seems to be holding bittorrent up ok, but i can't get it to forward ports correctly, even DMZ i can't host. So anyone have any recommendations on what i should try next?
