Need a new router

I am looking for a new router and the BEFSR41 ver4. This linksys router I got was perfect for the first 4 days now im getting drops constantly. I am RMAing it and need to know which one I should get. Can wireless routers still function as wired routers? Like if I plan to go wireless some day and use wired in the mean time?

Here are some I'm looking at:
Wireless:

Wired

Any suggestions or links are helpful.

Basically I just need 4 ports or so to hook up some computers as well as basic options like DMZ, Port Forwarding, etc..

I'd steer clear of Linksys products and look at dlink. I've never had any issues with dlink, in fact I have a 7 year router that still works perfectly from them and have never seen a linksys router go over 2 years without giving problems and needing consistent reboots.

Wireless routers are basically wired routers with wireless function added on. You can disable the wireless function of the router and it will still allow your wired clients to connect.

The GL version is a good version to go with for the Linksys router. It will allow you to flash it with third-party firmware.
