Amazon has some third party sellers that are starting to carry the same products that Aliexpress does. It seems like Titan Rig just started selling Barrow in the last few months. Sometimes they even beat Aliexpress prices if you have Prime.

I also noticed that Barrow has 2 types of fitting. Regular and choice. Most sellers don't specify which they are selling but the non-choice has the coin notches and the choice has the hidden hex key socket. I ordered the choice without even realizing it but I like them much better that the coin notch fittings I had.

I posted my pics over in the member case gallery.

i was searching for pictures of the barrow pump, and saw your topic.
I'm going to set up a custom water cooler for my sister's computer, I wanted to know the size of the pump with the mounting and top.
my plan is to use a 90mm reservoir but I think it will not fit, the case is an elite s340 from nzxt, very tight: x
she have an gtx 970hof is the same size as this i belive
this build is from JonezyBigby, i will use the pump an integrated reservoir in this place

if u can help me, thanks!

it wont fit as its too tight of a spot.

i dont recommend it at all there, because you will have problems with tubing and routing unless u want to invest in 90 degree fittings and other sorts.

Is that the exact same layout as your sisters case?

Maybe possibly, you can lay the res on the floor provided you didnt populate those bottom SSD trays.

Thanks for replying aigo
in case I would buy a 90 degree fitting to the top of reservoir like this
Qo8XKOQ.jpg

i will also use 1 280mm and 120 rads, like that (front/rear)
my concern is the size of the pump and reservoir, maybe they don't fit in that space with the 90 fitting
i will buy everything on ali, so i think it's not much expensive
this reservoir in the picture is 130mm i guess
according to an ali seller, the same pump as the bfun_x1 is around 99mm + 90mm of the reservoir 189mm
thanks!

I forgot to tell you, the system will only be for the processor because it is a 9590

that system up there is hard piped...
that means the tubing is preheated and bent to keep a rigid shape and make bends a lot easier then using normal tubing.

Are you going to hard pipe?
Because hard piping is not something i would ever recommend someone attempting, unless u have had some skill with h2o cooling.

I was planning to do with hoses at start, but a bond between the radiators would fall off
It would look pretty ugly, I guess.
also did not think I could do everything perfect on the first try but with 8 tubes to use I think I can

if you never done a rigid tubing build... lemme give you some pointers.

1. Always plan out a drain... this is a no brainer... the guy up top did not plan out a drain, which means if he needs to drain his system, it will be a PITFA and will probably end up not making him happy at all because its red, and he will spill and possibly stain stuff.

2. measure five times and then cut... u dont know how many rigid tubings ive lost because i did stupid stuff.

3. get one of those ring pipe cutters, they will make things easier for you to cut and snap.

4. do not attempt a bend without a bending rubber... and do not put that rubber down too long or it will break when you pull on it.

also get a good heat gun...

All this of course can be avoided if u just get 90 degree fitttings tho and skip the bending all together, but keep note of rule 1.
Always plan out a drain

and use something like this to valve it:
XSPC G1/4" Ball Valve

My pump and reservoir are kind of large but it's because the pump is inside of an aluminum shell and the acrylic top and reservoir are larger to accommodate.

Height
pump 63.5mm
Pump top 44.45
Pump, top, and 130mm res 224mm

It doesn't look that big but the TT View 31 case is very roomy.

aigo, now I understand what you mean about the 90 degree fitting xD
I planned a drain port at one of the pump outlets
I will use these parts and problably a sealing lock in the end
I can buy a fitting for hose and connect the end of the valve to help

thanks bfun!
would be something around 184mm then, plus the fitting on top + 2.6mm
aTKF5hh.jpg

I think it will fit, from the gpu to the top of the mobo has 180mm, and the s340 has a space above it, will be very close to the top but I think it will work

yes, i will use that, your reservoir is 130mm right?
so 224-40 = 184mm
or 63.5 + 44.45 + 90 = 198mm?
If so then I do not know if it would work
The measurement I needed would be:
ibSWkQe.jpg

about your suggestion aigo i will buy this kit
ujL4kEY.jpg

thanks!

The pump and top are about 102mm but...the pump power cables come out from the bottom so depending on how you mount it you might need to add another 12mm. I also have a gripe about this reservoir that may affect you. I have a barrow 5/8 OD compression fitting on the top inlet. The problem is that the inlet and fill port are so close that the 5/8 fitting prevents me from using a normal plug in the fill port. I managed to use an old crappy plastic one that's head is almost smaller than the O-ring. If I want to use a better plug I'd have to change my compression fitting to a barb. I don't know if you'd have the same issue with hard fittings.

Thanks for the advice bfun!
i will use a 90 degree rotary,
xjXx73e.jpg
and to fill i guess i will search some device used in pharmacy like this
7sfgdwf.jpg

The s340 will arrive here Tuesday I think, so I'll take all of his measurements to see if it will fit the way I'm planning, otherwise I'll have to change

The case has arrived, it took some time to get everything together, but here it is
ctayXEP.jpg

I measured, and between the gpu and the top of the case has 210mm
Will it fit? :coldsweat:

What were you wanting to put over the GPU? Can you fit a radiator and fans on top? If so you might get a pump and res up front. Looks tight though. You might have to go with a smaller pump res combo. Or, you could just leave it the way it is. It's not custom but it's water cooled and it works. I'm getting anxiety even thinking about putting a custom loop in there.

only the pump, like this picture i posted before but with the pump/res combo
uVrte8v.jpg

this case only have 240/280 front 120 top and rear
so the only way to put a 280 rad is in front
this h100i is from my pc, and i'm not getting the temps i wanted too
i think it will fit , in worst scenario i will buy an extra reservoir and fittings, just as precaution
