Need a new Power Supply

MY Antec TP 430w has just died so i need a replacement.

I'm running..

Athlon 64 3500 on an MSI Neo 2 platinum board.
2 gigs memory
2 x wd 120gb hard drives
1 cd burner, 1 dvd burner
geforce 6800 128mb.
dual 17" Samsung LCD's.

I also plan to upgrade to an athlon 64 X2 3800 in the next couple of months.

Any suggetions?

What is your budget? I'd recommend any Enermax, not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. All my systems have Ultra X-Connects. Everyone seems to have an opinion on these, some say they're the worst PSU's ever, some love them. I love mine, and until I get a system it's not powerful enough to run I won't even think about dumping it. I paid $100 for it (would pay it again tomorrow in a heartbeat) but you can find them for cheap AR all over the place.
 
I like seasonics, quiet and very efficent.

Go for another 430W PSU, maybe a 450W, anything over that is a waste of money that would be better spent on women and beer.
 
If you are looking at modular, make sure ALL the modular connectors to the PSU have latches. Some use ordinary "molex type" connectors like on optical drives, etc. and those are not reliable enough for that application. Especially since they aren't even real Molex or Amp but cheap chinese knock-offs. And the cables to the mobo should not be modular - you don't want ANY superfluous contacts in high-current circuits.

In my humble opinion Fortron makes the best bang for the buck supplys on the planet...Second place is way...And I mean way back there.

Build quality is right there with even the most expensive brand out there.

Nice supplys that are rock solid and last for years.

I just got one of those Fortrons. Seems good and solid, isn't super light weight so seems to be good quality, good 12v rails. I recomend it.
 
The 120 fan in an older Fortron I have is a Yate Loon. It is thermally controlled.
At about 50% load the fan can be heard if your ear is 12" from it.
Go for a passively cooled($$) PSU if you want quiet.

I'm running my main home rig and my main work rig on two Coolmax PSU's, and I love 'em to death. Stable, quiet, and the price is certainly right. Essentially a year on both, running DC projects 24/7, and not a hiccup.
 
I'm also looking for a new PS mine just craped out and its old i think it might me a 300w not sure. I'm running a AMD 1.3Ghz (what ever that is in there terms 2500?) I'm looking for may be a 350w that is very quiet and has good air through it as the case needs more air but i'm not doing any OC on it. Any good ideas?

I paid $79 shipped. Can't say how it is until it arrives which will hopefully be around Wednesday.
