My Voyager hasnt died but it sucks. Resets itself all the time. It is the third phone I've had with them so I cant upgrade anymore. Wish I'd kept my Env2 back in Dec.

Go with a Blackberry that has a normal keypad. They run better and have superior battery life. They are also pretty darn easy to use once you get used to the interface.
I would not bother getting any Palm except for the Palm Pre, and I would not get the first generation phone of that platform. The old Palm platform is dead. Dont bother with it. Get a Blackberry.
Depending on your needs it may not WOW you, but it wont disappoint either.

When my current contract is up I will likely stay with Verizon but I will never get another LG. They look cool but they have issues. Just found out today that the new Env and Voyager both have issues with resetting randomly, and those are LG's flagship phones. They didnt fix the old problems I dont see why I should buy a new phone.
Shame Verizon has the best service when they dont have the best phones like the Apple, Google, and Pre. But they have plenty of BB's to tide us over for now.

I hate all Palm's werty keyboards. The buttons are so tiny and close together. I would look at Blackberry's and you can have fun with them as well and they even have an app store as well.

You won't regret getting a curve, especially going from a voyager. I had a 8830 but I got tired of it and got a curve. Great phone, I love it. Very solid and you can get one fairly cheap. I bought mine off ebay brand new for $275 since I'm waiting for the Tour to be released.

orginizer (i have plenty of appointments to keep and have a bad memory)
email
texting (and pictures)
music

Just want to remind you that new BB Curve 8900 does not have 3G because you are surfing whenever you get bored. I dont know if Verizon has Curve 8900 only I know ATT and Tmobile have one. I think you are better off looking for cell phone with real keyboard that have 3G. Also BB Tour which will come out soon replace aging BB Bold.
I know only two real keyboard cell phones are Tmobile Sidekick LX 2009 and Tmobile G1 (Kinda flat keyboard).

Verizon doesn't have the 8900, they have the 8330 and it does have 3G.

Also, the Tour is not replacing the Bold. Bold is ATT and Tour is CDMA. In fact I think the Bold will still have a faster processor than the Tour. The Bold is far from aging.

oh yeah. 3g is something i wanted. i have it on the LG but man the screen is far to small.

after my wife gets off from training (she is going for CDL license training) we are going to hit verizon store. i been trying to talk her into switching so i can get a Iphone but she wont heh.

my sister wants my Voyager even though the touch screen is all messed up lol. all she does is text her friends (something like 2k a month).

my 2 cents. Consider the Omnia
I just got the Omnia couple days ago and been glued to it. first thing i love is the size, well compared to I phone its very handy and feels good. The camera is friggin awsome, touch response is nice and optical mouse or 4 way nav is the best i have seen so far.
well win mo could be slow and annoying but best thing about win mo is that is easy to customize which i plan to do later. Another thing i love is hwo easy it is to sync, i havent even downloaded the companinon CD but its all reay to go without it. The "phone" quality is very good better than any other smart phone (except htc i never used them).
Opera webbrowser is great and device is very responsive to zoom function supports number of media players. I also love the touch or tactile feed back, little vibration when you touch the screen. Ok i could go on for ever.. oh one more thing you can record the friggin radio right to your playlist, oh did i mention it has FM radio player too.

humm some cons : The i 900 comes with fancy headphones and micro card this one does not (why eurpoeans have it better always)
The rsolution could be better but i gess its faster because its lower so its ok... (why euro....)but i mean the omnia hd, have you seen that thing, I have in person and played around with it... its awsome.
Typing kind of sux but omnia 2 that is coming out soon with have slide out keyboard so if its deal breaker, I will wait for that.
Win mo kinda sux, GPS locked by verizon, no apps or they cost too much, no 3.5 mm but have adapter.
Battery life could be better. Sorry for long post but hope it helps!
