I'm getting sick of my SE w810i, the volume on that thing is just soooooooooo low.

Any recommendations on a phone that can be unlock and use with the att network? The two main thing I'd like would be wifi and a nice camera ... I don't have a data plan, so I hoping I can use the wifi to surf instead of getting a data plan.

My coworker has the blackberry curve which looks pretty cool, for some reason the flip phones doesn't do for me ...

Any suggestions?

bah! didn't even know there was a section for gadgets and how long have I been here? :)

forgot to add ... I'm hoping to keep it around $100 or so.

You can follow down the same path as me. I had an SE w810i and loved it. I just wanted something a little more up to date. I wanted a phone that was smaller, lighter, had more features, as good of call performance, and at least as good in camera quality. I ended up getting the Nokia N79. There are only three things I like better about the SE: battery life (SE was amazing, n79 is good but not as good), bluetooth (with the SE, I could leave phone in upstairs room and walk around the whole house while on headset, N79 can't), and keys (I prefer small raised keys, N79 are flush). Supposedly people who text (I don't) like the N79 keys.

I highly recommend it. There is simply no other smart phone on the market that is as small and light and has a quality 5mp camera.

you're not going to get much in an unlocked handset for $100, which means your only route is probably getting a phone from att with the subsidy and contract extension. they have a refurb iphone 3g 8gb for 100 bux, if that interests you. not sure if you can use it without a data plan though.

www.wirelessimports.com has a solid selection of unlocked phones, but like i said, not much available for under $100, and those will be worse phones than your old w810i.
