Need a new motherboard

The ASRock is still to wonkey, and SATA performance isn't up to par. My next choice was the MSI K8N NEO2-f, hard to find, and there are a lot of threads around about how flakey they are as well. So whats next? Epox doesn't seem to have very many hate threads, and they seem to clock well. Or should I try the Asus boards with the VIA chipset?
Will be running an opteron 146.
 
I would look for a MSI K8N Neo2 on Ebay, or even our FS/FT forum. This is a mature motherboard, and with some of the new modded bios's available, it's really too bad they are not still in stock anywhere.
