My old 19" CRT is starting to not look so good... and I also want to get a way smaller computer desk and put it in the living room. So basically I need an LCD on way or the other.
I'm looking to spend as little as possible.... I was going to go with the cheapest 19" I could find with good response times (easy to find for under $200 AR). But then I started seeing that for a little more I could get a 19" widescreen or even possibly a 20". Here's what I was looking at:

I'm running a somewhat slow system, so that could be a factor as well: 3200+, 6800NU unlocked to 16/6 and OC to 400/890, 1 gig PC3200. I don't know if I could support the 1680x1050 res on the 20.1"... or even the 1440x900 required by the 19" for that matter.
Any suggestions? The alternative is just a regular 19" running at 1280X1024.
