I need a new MB that supports the Athlon XP, but also supports PC133 ram. I have 512MB of Mushkin rev.3 and I dont wanna get rid of it. I have an Abit Kt7a that doesnt play well with the XP, so I need something that does. Anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks!

ECS K7S5A or MSI K7T Turbo2. The former even lets you upgrade to DDR in the future; the latter is just a nice board I used to build my wife's system.

Agree with Buz 2b. Using ECS K7S5A right now with 512Mb DDR. Great performer out of the box. Also the MicroStar K7T Turbo, which my brother uses, never a problem, VIA kt133a board with 256Mb pc133. Satisfied customers.

Look through AMD's website for AMD recommended motherboards for AthlonXP. Both the K7S5A (up to XP 1900+)and MSI K7T Turbo2 (up to XP 2000+) boards are on the list.

How about the shuttle AK32L, newegg 54 Dollars. Takes sdr or ddr, and has overclocking features, vcore and FSB adj.
