need a new laptop

As the heading goes, I want a laptop with a max of 13", and as I could be playing the occasional doom 3/ AOE3, GF6 128mb is a must... any suggestions? I want it to be light also...

Sony VAIO S380. 13 inch screen, and it has a 6200TC (32mb dedicated, so 128mb shared). Not sure if it's 64-bit or 32-bit, but it should run Doom3 acceptably. The 12-13" requirement kills any chance of anything better, unfortunately.

Not to thread jack but..... what if the screen could be up to 14" I too am looking for a laptop with the same requirements but I can handle up to 14" of screen, under 5 pounds.

I dont wanna run like 100fps... 800*600 with 40-50fps is enough

you should run the screen at its native resolution really, and 1280x800 isn't that demanding, so a 6200 should be up to the job.

look at the toshiba m200 / m205. it is a convertible though.

Asus W3V has an ATI MR X600 (14" widescreen)
Toshiba (M4?) has a 128MB GF Go 6600 (14")
