I need a new keyboard/mouse...I was looking around at bestbuy and I noticed the Logitech MX620 mouse which looks really nice and has the scroll wheel like the revolution mouse but this one clicks as you scroll. Does anyone know if this mouse is good or not?

Also as for the keyboard I really like the LX710 an how it looks or the S510...which one of these is the better one?

One more thing, how long will the batteries last on the mx620 mouse and either one of the keyboards?

while i know nothing about the LX710 or S510, i recently acquired the logitech cordless desktop mx3000 laser and so far I'm very impressed. it comes w/ the mx600 mouse which is similar. i prefer the mx3000 keyboard thanks to the media function. you may prefer the mx3200 set that comes with the mx1000 mouse which has internal rechargeable batteries.

That does look like a nice combo, but I'm not too fond of the keyboard...any other suggestions? or anyone ever use the mx620 mouse or LX710/S510 keyboards?

What's your budget?

I've had my eye on the MS Wireless Desktop 7000 keyboard/mouse set for it's bluetooth capability and other features. Looks like a nice set and can be had for about $120 online. I just can't justify giving up my diNovo media desktop set, even though the bluetooth doesn't fully function with Vista (can't connect other bluetooth devices to the hub).

Yeah that combo looks pretty nice but I think I should stay away from bluetooth and Vista for now...I've heard alot of people having problems with the combination of those two.

i just purchased a new keyboard/mouse combo.

i opted for the logitech g15 from buy.com. there's a deal going on now so it's like 60 bucks and there's a 20 dollar MIR (go to slickdeals for the main thread including a link to the MIR; it's not the same MIR listed on buy.com's website). for the mouse, the cordless logitech VX mouse is awesome. i bought one but gave it to my gf to take with her for school; im buying another one for myself. on amazon there's a MIR, making the total price 37 bucks.

so, the keyboard isn't cordless but it's gotten ridiculous reviews. the mouse is cordless and awesome.

I also had reservations about the MX3200 keyboard but now that I have been using it for a few months I very much like it. Just be sure to download the latest version of the setpoint software direct from Logitech as the version that ships with it has some problems, the new 4.* works great for me.
