Well, my IBM 75GXP drive just took a crap on me :| , so it looks like it is time to purchase a new drive. What I want is suggestions on drives you all have been using that are reliable. I'm looking for a drive that will be 80.0GB+ in size. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

I have never had a single problem with my western digitals, or even a couple maxtors I have used. But the WDs are faster.

I love my WD 100GB drive. I bought the one with the 2Mb cache, since the other one was a little too expensive for me. It is the fastest and quietest drive I have had so far. It was so quiet that, when I installed it and booted for the first time, I was worried that it wasn't powering up :) It freaked me out after listening to my 60GB 75GXP (which died on me 3 months after I bought it :|).

To make a long story short...WD all the way.

I like Seagates and Western Digitals. I have had good luck with the Barracuda IVs from Seagate. I also like the Special Edition drives from Western Digital. My uncle has the 100GB SE Western Digital drive, and it is real nice. I'm planning to get the 120GB SE drive for the new PC I'm building.
