Or the worst.
Japanese make the design, Americans engineer it, Germans do the electrical systems, and it's assembled by the Italians.
Heh you beat me to this. How about: Japanese aesthetics, German electrical, American union labor, and Italian pricing? 😛Originally posted by: AstroManLuca

American assembly? No thanks. Japanese assembly for me.
American engineering is excellent though. It's just that the engineers are held back by american accountants (and marketing people and lawyers).

Japanese aesthetics? You've got to be kidding. Japanese car manufacturers have a 'design fuckup' competition every year and each maker tries to outdo the other.

Yeah. I got that upside down though I didn't know that German sucked at electrical systems.

Now that you mention it, I think the worst car company would be where the British handle every aspect of the car's design and manufacture.

I'm fairly certain this is the epitome of fail.
There have been good American Cars (designed/built)...there are good German cars (designed/built), and there are good Japanese cars (designed/built)...but there pretty much has never been a good British car completely designed and built by them...I'm fairly certain...maybe the original Mini was the only exception.
