Need a new desk lamp - what do you like?

Figured I'd just go to Staples and grab something but there are choices. (also, they were sold out of the really cheap one)

So, are there any desk-light choices that are worth spending extra money on?

Flourescent
LED
Incandescent
Halogen
Full Spectrum/Natural Light

Anything else?

I spend a lot of time at the desk, and I don't have the best eyesight in the world so it might be worth considering something decent - if there IS anything better than el cheapo.

I like the old school bankers lamps, with a 40w incandescent. Easy on the eyes doesn't spread to much light around, and is visually pleasing.

i got a cheap drafting lamp and mounted it to one of the shelves above my desk. stuck a fluorescent bulb in it.

then i mounted a couple of those velcro cable ties (APC branded, come with my UPS's) to the arms with double-stick mounting tape. the top one limits the amount the arm can fall, the bottom one can tie the lamp up.

Ehh, clamp on swingarm desk lamps are my favorite for tables/desks/workspaces...
