Need a new cooling solution, air cooling just won't cut it

It's almost summer and I may need to find a new, cheap, cooling solution. I don't think that air cooling is going to cut it during the summertime because ambient temperatures in my room can easily reach 80-90 degress, since my dad usually doesn't like to turn on the AC, until it's "hot enough" by his standards. Add the high ambient termperatures to the fact that the only space in my room for my computer is in the worst possible space of airflow, on the floor, in the corner, next to my desk, equals a fairly hot CPU and case.

well short of water cooling I don't know what to tell you.... if you go this route you could get out for around $120.
I would get:
Dtek Customs spiral water block: $25
JR-120 Radiator 34.99
Via 1300 pump 22.99
2 good 120mm fans 15.00
tubing and other misc 20.00

should give you good performance and you wouldn't have to resort to putting a vantec tornado on you cpu

Your room temp will really affect your water cooling kit. It does mine. But it's still probably the best way to go.

Get your tubing, opt for the 1/2ID at menards or something. Make sure it's something flexible but sturdy.

Check out heater cores for vehicles as radiators. The ones you'll buy online are just spray painted knock offs.

Really invest time on a good pump, block, and if you're concerned about noise, 120mm fans. Plus you want to make sure your case is big enough and that cramping all that stuff in there won't kill air flow.

Does anyone know of any goods sites that have specs on how to make waterblocks?

I was hesitant to go with water cooling at first, because of the expense. But, I just remembered that my brother in law is an engineer with access to a machine shop and maybe some blocks of aluminum. So, if he make the waterblocks for me, that'll really cut down on the cost and make water cooling an affordable possibility.

My case is kind of cramped, but for water cooling, I was planning on having everything external anyways, because my computer is in the corner next to my desk and I can jam all the equipment behind my desk.
