I awhile back I asked for suggestions on city building games and I found The Settlers: Rise of an Empire and I loved the game.
I've since finished that and it's expansion and even played a ton of custom maps but its now getting boring.
I need something new now. It needs to be in real time, no turned base crap. I like the medieval time period type stuff the most but it isn't required. I'd also like a little bit of combat involved if possible, but not required either.
I could try the previous Settlers games but not sure how I'd like going backwards in gameplay and graphics.
I've tried 1701 AD, Children of the Nile, City Life (couldn't even get it to install), Sim City Societies, Civ IV, one set during the Roman empire, and a few others but none were what i wanted or just plain sucked.
