need a new cellphone, no idea whats good

hey guys, i dropped my old samsung u900 in the water while fishing tonight. gonna need a new phone.

here is what i want

-slim/aesthetic design : doesn't have to be anything ultra slim, i just dont want a brick
-decent camera/video capabilities: 5mp+ camera with decent quality
-messaging: i gotta be able to message fast on it, it has to be a message friendly phone


touch screen is irrelevant, don't care eitherway.

price range is irrelevant, don't care how much it costs.

what i DONT want

-smart phone with tons of bs features that i dont need
-a phone that attempts to replace my ipod


the extent to which i use my phone is really just to message and take pictures. thats about it. if it has cool features thats great but im not business man who needs a blackberry. im a first year uni student.

i dont want a 90$ one that meets my needs adequately, id rather spend some money on something new and good

If you want a good camera phone then take a look at Nokia N-series. N95-4, N85 all have good 5MP cameras with Zeiss optics. SE makes CyberShot phones that are good as well.

Is this going to be on Tmobile or AT&T? If you are ever going to want internet they both run on different 3G networks and would have to get phones that have the correct 3G frequency to work.
