What case do u recommend. I was looking at the Antec Sonata, looks a little small or the MGE Sidewinder on newegg for 55 vs the antec 98 dollar price tag. I want a durable case with a 400psu, and good cooling. Thanks.

i recently bought myself the Raidmax Red Cobra [http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=11-156-145&depa=0] with an included 420 watt PSU. The paint job on this thing is AWESOME: its as close to automotive quality than any other i have seen. has room for 4 front 80mm fans, come with 2 80mm rear fans, and has a tr-colored led 80mm fan in the side window. best case i've had for awhile:)

Thank You,
Futurecomm

Will an MSi nforce3 or Asus k8v mobo fit into the antec? It looks kind of small. THanks

I am extremely pleased with my aluminum Lian Li PC-7USB case I recently got. 60 bucks on eBay. Doesn't come with a power supply, but I went and picked up a 450 for it. Plenty of room and I love how the hard drive rack is right in front of the front case fans, with gaps between each drive for airflow.

Sonata. 120mm fans power supply and exhaust fans = quiet. Good quality power supply (my desktop is a P4 3.2, 1GB, nV fx5900 nu, 2 HD, 2 optical).

If you like the Antec cases, you might look around for places that sell their cases without power supplies. I heard Directron sells some. I have used the Antec SLK3700-BQE twice recently. It is a nice, solid case, but I am not super stoked about the PSU. The included Antec PSU works fine in the systems that I setup, but I prefer to have a choice. Too many problems I have had over the years were PSU related, and I would rather have the peace of mind of a honking, robust PSU so that I at least have that eliminated when I have problems. There are some excellent PSUs for reasonable to very high prices.

Don't have that exact model, but I gotta throw in a vote for Lian Li if you're looking for an aluminum chassis. Very good build quality, nice removable hard drive cage and motherboard tray, thumbscrews all around -- VERY easy to work with in terms of installation/upgrades. A little pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for. Why skimp on something you'll be keeping for years to come?

Hard to beat Antec for a cheap steel tower with a good-quality PSU included (not great, generally, but better than the crap you'd get with a knockoff brand). I'm not crazy about the look of the Thermaltake cases...
