Need a new board?

Hey guys,

Lately when I'm watching any sort of video from windows media player I can't watch it in full screen mode, because it will play a tad, freeze and I'll hear the audio then it'll cut out and the computer stops responding. I then need to hard reset.

Running a Striker 2 Extreme with 1600 MHZ ram and a qx9650 with 2 8800 GTXs in SLI.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

That happened to me before, when I updated my (nVidia) video driver. If you've updated your video driver recently, that may very well be what's causing your problem. Try rolling your driver back, and see what happens.

edit: Do you have an nVidia 700 series chipset on your motherboard? If so, you'll be interested in this link.
