Need a new Anime

I am a big fan of Trigun (obviously) and Gungrave. What other animes along the line of those two are out there? Would Hellsing be a good show? Thanks
 
I just picked up the new Hellsing Ultimate. I have also watch the original version. Both series start out with the same story line but the new version spills some of secrets in the first disk. I was reading the a few web sites last night and on one they mentioned that the Hellsing Ultimate might get canceled. :|

Gatnz is good...Better now that you can get a complete set. Violent.

FMA - funny and light hearted most of the time but with some dark moments.

Ergo Proxy - A good non-traditional anime.

The Gundamn series, much like Dragonball, Inyasha, Naruta and FMA would be much, much better if the series was shorter, rather than 3-10 seasons of pure filler GARBAGE.

The better animes last only a couple dozen episodes.

FLCL accomplishes a damn good anime in only 6 eps.
