Need a new AMD64 CPU/mobo combo pronto

My friggin trusty DFI Infinity and Barton died today, no explanation, the CPU won't work in other computers(sad, really because its the best stepping and week ever made) and my mobo won't work with any other CPUs.

Extremely upset about this considering this computer should have lasted me at least another year.

Where can I get a Winchester with good stepping*, and what motherboard should I get, whats top dog right now? I need something that will do serious FSB because I have some top knotch TCCD on my hands, price is a def factor.

MUST HAVE AGP. I need to be able to use my AGP 6800U in it.

Don't recommend Asus, and I don't think I'd consider DFI after this.
 
Well the only choices for DFI w/ AGP uses a 754 chipset... SO, you're best bet is the heavy hitters... MSI, Asus, etc.
 
you dont even know why/how ur mobo/cpu died and your gona blame the dfi board and never get dfi again even though they make the best oc boards?

 
You need something that will do high FSB but price is a factor? Hmm...probably the best ocing board out there is an MSI Neo2 Platinum. It's pricey though.
 
Try out the newegg motherboard search engine.

Load in what CPU you want to use on it, specify you want AGP then pick from the list that pops up! 😉

I wish Newegg shipped to Canada.... they have the best website out there! Way easier shopping!!
