Need a new 56K Modem, suggestions?

I don't think cable or dsl will be anytime soon. I need to replace my ISA 56K (new mobo has no ISA slots). I need good gaming ping and to be able to use it in Netmeeting and occasionally send a fax. Should I go external? V90 or 92? Please enlighten me with your wisdom. TIA

That's good to know about USB modems. I would stay away from them anyway because of all the USB problems I have been having.

Diamond Supra Express External Serial. These aren't made anymore, but you should be able to find one fairly easily on ebay.
