Dear friends,
We at this rural South India have the following logistical problem:

We need to configure 2 high-end systems that will serve 10 thin clients. It is these thin clients which will be doing the actual video work. These 2 systems will be doing video-intensive work at a central site.

These video materials will soon be serve to 'guests'(adjacent schools) at the end of each hour of a school day, instructional video materials worth about 4 GB (7 grades, for each about 600MB). This is expected to be done via wireless tech at speeds of 10MBps. Thus at the end of each hour about 400secs ~ 7 mins of video 'streaming'...

In a few months these 2 high-end will become part of a networked cluster that will serve ~100 thin clients at our own school e-library to serve students. This will be in addition to the above work.

We woul be grateful if you will advise us on the config of the 2 high-en systems to start with.
🙂

Sachith,
For better help you may want to post this question in the "Networking" section of the Anandtech forums - the people there are highly knowledgable about problems such as yours .. 🙂
