I am trying to update my sig with my newest FS thread in it, the problem is when I try to change the URL it changes right back, I change the URL and the name and when I hit update it goes right back to the old one.

any help mods? or anyone else for that matter? I have tried what feels like everything.

As previously discussed, try disabling any firewalls you may be running before updating your sig. Make sure to reenable them when you're done.

I don't think that is the problem, I just updated my sig saturday and it worked fine, tried it yesterday and it wouldn't work.

You have illegal characters/strings somewhere in your profile, likely well before your signature.

This kills the process that updates your signature and the operation is not completed, although it returns information as if it is.

firewall isn't the prob I disabled it and it still won't allow me, as far as the illegal charcters, I know thats not the prob. becuase like I said, I updated saturday and it was fine, and I checked all the stuff in my profile everything is the same as the day that I made it.

The changes you make to your profile in the database can't just magically change themselves back to what they were... the ONLY possibility is that at some point between when you changed it and when it "changed back" the database crashed and restored itself with a slightly outdated version.

Try changing it again. Remove everything from every field in your profile that it will let you take out and accept. (basically everything but your email and password). If it requires info for other parts, just put in "a" for everything.

Then try changing fields one by one and ensure that they actually update before you put real info in a new one.
