im not sure if i should go with dual or single. what processor should i get and which mobo has a lot of good features and is very good, but doen't have such a high price tag. What sort of things do some of you recomend? I mostly use the internet and play games. Im trying to build a sweet computer for as little money as possible.

Thanks.

P/S- any ideas on a video card while the gears are turning? im thinkin' AIW.

Depends if you want to go Amd or Intel. If you went AMD (what i'd do/did).

Athlon XP 1500+
A GigaByte GA7DXR or any other mobo (most are good)
At least 256mb ram i have 512mb

I have a Radeon 64mb ddr ViVo and it's AWESOME! The AIW would be nice too.

If your gonna go P4:

Asus P4T-E w/ 1.7+ GHz 478pin P4

I would prefer this over any AMD system for stability (and no, I'm not wanting to start a flame war... it's just my opinion)

ECS K7S5A! It is 57 bucks at Newegg. 3 of my friends have the board and all three love it's price and stability.

You can use either DDR or SDR RAM with the board, and it's only 57 bucks!!!!

I'd probably pair the board up with an Athlon XP of whatever speed fits your budget.

Get them while they're hot!
