I was in an accident the other day and my car is currently being worked on... The had to replace the inner and outer tierods as I was hit on my driver side front wheel. Now they are saying when they put the car on the alignment rack that the tires are rubbing the struts... So they think the struts are bent. I assume that the tires are pointing in at the top sorta like this /___\ isn't that part of an alignment? And do you think that the struts really could be bent from my accident if the tierods were bent pretty bad?

Please help I have to pay for this out of my pocket and I dont want to get screwed!

If the struts are bent and alignment is not going to fix it. The struts have to be straight in order for the tech to set caster and camber correctly.

This is not unheard of in my experince. A sudden jolt to the suspension can cause struts to bend under the stress.
